Since September 2020 Jitka Látal Znamenáčková has been a Permanent Representative of the Czech
Republic in the Political and Security Committee of the European Union.
She graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and in 2013 she participated in the
fellowship program of the US government focussing on economic and trade relations of the EU and
USA. In her career Jitka has devoted herself to commerce and the topic of the European Union.
In the past she gained experiences at various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry
of Industry and Trade, as well as she led the EU and NATO department in the Office of the President
of the Czech Republic.
