Irena Krcháková

Irena Krcháková started her professional career in a radio station, then moved to Czech Television. She managed to combine her personal interest in events on the domestic political scene and abroad with her work in the newsroom. She has worked there for almost eight years. Irena has experience in creating content for CT24 and Události newscasts, both behind the desk and in the field. She focuses mainly on domestic political topics, but she also has experience with foreign news. During her time at the broadcaster, she was also part of the culture desk. Irena is interested in sports events of all kinds, and is an active sportswoman. She is also interested in the cultural scene, especially music and theatre. She is a Vsetín resident at heart and a Prague resident for over twenty years. Irena has one daughter Maria.
