Dita Charanzová studied at the University of Economics in Prague and later at the Academy of Diplomacy in Madrid. In 2001 she successfully defended her dissertation at the Faculty of International Relations, the University of Economics (VŠE) in Prague. She has worked as a diplomat, a manager, a consultant and as a high government official for EU related issues. She was first elected as an MEP in 2014, and five years later she was as the head of the ANO candidate list when she was re-elected. She continues with her work in the Committee for the Internal Market, focusing on the digital market and supporting Czech business in internal as well as in third markets. She has been repeatedly listed as one of the most influential women in Brussels.
