Mats Braun is an associate professor and head of the department of International Relations and European Studies at the Metropolitan University in Prague. He also lectures regularly at Södertörn University, Stockholm. He has published his work in the Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of Contemporary European Research and Cooperation and Conflict, among others. He is the author of the book “Europeanization of Environmental Policy in the New Europe: Beyond Conditionality” (Ashgate/Routledge – 2014). From 2010 to 2016, he served as a member of the Executive Council of the Central and East European International Studies Association (CEEISA). During the fall of 2015, he was a visiting scholar at the Cornell Institute for European Studies, Ithaca.
