Scott Eastman

Scott Eastman is a geopolitical forecaster and analyst, identified as a “Superforecaster™” by outperforming the average of the US Intelligence Community by more than 30% without the aid of classified information. His insights have been sought and used by the highest levels of government in the US, UK, Poland, and Romania as well as by leading financial institutions. Recent work has included comprehensive studies of catastrophic and existential risk to humanity and the planet from myriad causes including AI, nuclear war, and climate change. He was a member of epidemicforecasting.org from the Future of Humanity Institute at the University of Oxford, advising governments and industry about the Covid pandemic, and currently advises on the war in Ukraine and the Israel-Hamas war. He is an American living in Romania for the last seventeen years, where he served as the chief advisor to a mayor and was the communications director of an EU transnational project.
